STRESS RELIEVED PROCESS
In order to minimize the residual stresses
present in the structure, reducing the risk
of dimensional changes during additional
manufacturing processes or the final use
of the component.
The stress relief temperature for steel parts
is normally between 550 and 560 ° c.
A slow cooling rate is important to avoid
stresses caused by temperature differences
in the material; this is especially important
when stress relieving large components.
TREATMENT TIME IS 60 MINUTES
